According to reports, an updated version of Power BI will be available later this month. Power BI, originally launched in July 2013, is part of Office 365. Microsoft has announced that it will be available on July 24, 2015. The general release will add many new features including new chart types, support for collaborating in groups on shared data sets and a revamped desktop application. Power BI allows regular business used to leverage powerful tools to visualize the information they possess from various sets of data that update live. Power BI also allows users to create content packs and share them with others. Future upgrades of the product will allow even more connections with outside services. Reports show that at least one new pack will be available each week. Power BI will support 44 languages and work on multiple platforms.
