Windows 10 Updates Will Include Details
In the past, Windows users sometimes felt hampered by the lack of detail surrounding new automatic updates from the software company.  However, in a reversal of that policy, Microsoft announced that it will detail the changes associated with any automatic updates that are released to users of the new Windows 10 platform for Enterprise users.  This means that businesses that take advantage of the new Enterprise Windows 10 download will be receiving some of the most up-to-date and detailed information Microsoft has to offer its clients.

Windows 10 Success Stories

Windows 10's launch has been a rousing success so far, with more than 75 million downloads of the new desktop OS.  To date, the vast majority of users seem to be happy with the results they have gotten from the new system.  Of course, there have been a few issues, but these have been resolved quickly and few people seem disposed to complain. Whether Microsoft can keep the positive momentum going once new automatic updates begin remains to be seen.  Some customers have had negative experiences in allowing wholesale updates, and Microsoft's decision not to provide detailed changelogs with updates raised some furor when Windows 10 was first introduced.  However, Microsoft has acknowledged that, at least in the case of its commercial customers, it will reverse itself on that policy.

What Updates?

Unfortunately, exactly what will be included in the new detailed changelogs remains elusive.  The first thing that stands out from Microsoft's recent announcement about providing updates is that only Enterprise customers will be included, not home users.  However, Microsoft has certain shown a willingness to listen to and be influenced by customer feedback.  Many experts see this move as one that ushers in a new era of customer service standards for Microsoft.  While the software giant has always provided plenty of support for its users, the new attitude surrounding Windows 10 seems to be a fresh take on incorporating customer feedback into its future decision-making, even to the point of reversing a policy if it seems customers are dissatisfied.
